Lake Samish Multisport Weekend!

The Bellingham area has a tradition of creating top notch multisport events. The Lake Samish Fire Department is pleased to add a new premium event to the summer calendar. The Lake Samish Triathlon is perfect for first timer triathletes and offers seasoned triathletes a great training distance prior to Ironman Canada. The Try-a-Tri and Sprint Triathlons start and finish at Camp Lutherwood, located at the north end of Lake Samish.
CAMP LUTHERWOOD IS A PRIVATE CAMP - NO ATHLETES ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER BEFORE RACE DAY. TRAININING FOR LAKE SAMISH CAN BE STAGED FROM LAKE SAMISH PARK.
The Open Water Swim takes place August 8 (Sunday). The swim distances are 1.5 miles and 5K and take place in North Lake Samish. The swim starts and finishes at Camp Lutherwood. click here for details.
